Dashboard & login

I clicked “Login with Discord” and nothing happens / blank page

Disable aggressive ad blockers for this site, allow pop-ups if your browser blocked the Discord sign-in window, and try again. If the address bar shows error=oauth_denied, you canceled the Discord prompt — click login again and approve.

Login shows “Discord sign-in failed” or oauth_failed

Discord could not finish signing you in (temporary glitch, browser extension, or cookies). Try a private/incognito window, turn off strict ad blockers for this site, clear cookies for this site, and use Login with Discord again. If it keeps happening, open a ticket in Discord support.

I see “Missing sign-in code” or missing_code

Discord did not return an authorization code (interrupted redirect, bookmarked callback URL, or back button). Start from /dashboard and use Login with Discord again without interrupting the redirect.

I’m logged in but the dashboard says I have no session / kicks me out

Clear cookies for this site, try another browser or a private window, and sign in again. Make sure you are not blocking cookies for this site. If you were idle a long time, your session may have expired — log in again.

Stripe checkout return says payment pending or never shows my key

Stay signed in with the same Discord account you used at checkout. Open the Subscription tab and wait a minute, then refresh — your key can take a moment to appear after payment. If nothing shows, you may be logged into a different Discord account than the one that paid; log out and log in with the purchaser account.

Server list & access

My Discord server does not appear in the dashboard

All must be true: you are the server owner or have the Administrator permission in that server; the VouchCord bot is in that server; and you are signing into Discord with the same account that has that access. “Manage Server” alone is not enough for the dashboard list.

I just invited the bot but the server still doesn’t show

Wait a few seconds, click Change Server and pick your server again, or log out and back in. The server list can take a moment to refresh; if you refresh too fast, Discord may ask you to wait a minute.

“Discord is rate limiting server list requests”

Discord is temporarily limiting how often your server list can load. Wait 1–2 minutes, refresh once, or log out and back in. Avoid clicking refresh many times in a row.

Discord bot & commands

Slash commands don’t appear or “The application did not respond”

Confirm the bot is online, has Use Application Commands in that channel, and under Server Settings → Integrations → VouchCord your channel is allowed. If the bot was just added, slash commands can take a little while to show everywhere — wait up to an hour, or remove the bot and add it again using the official invite from the site or docs so commands register correctly.

“Missing Access” or “Missing Permissions” when posting vouches

In the vouch channel, grant the bot: Send Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files, Read Message History. For staff flows: Manage Messages. For Premium role rewards: Manage Roles and ensure the bot’s role is above the role it assigns.

Embeds look broken or images don’t show

Enable Embed Links and Attach Files for the bot in that channel. Check that proof image URLs are reachable (https) and not blocked.

/vouch says the server is not configured

Complete Setup on the dashboard or run /setup in Discord: set vouch channel, logging channel, admin role, and color.

/vouch says no products configured

Add at least one product from the dashboard Products tab or with /setproducts add.

Setup, channels & roles

Do I have to use /setup in Discord?

No. The dashboard Setup tab configures the same fields. Use whichever you prefer.

I changed channel names — do I need to reconfigure?

Discord stores channels by ID; renames usually don’t break anything. If you deleted and recreated a channel, select the new channel in Setup or Server settings and save.

Admin role doesn’t let someone use staff commands

They need the configured admin role or Discord Administrator. The role must not be admin-only on Discord’s side in a way that blocks interaction — verify the role is assigned to the member.

Premium: post-vouch role never assigns

The bot needs Manage Roles. The chosen role must be below the bot’s top role in Server Settings → Roles. Premium must be active for that server.

Products, vouches & limits

I can’t add more than 15 products

Free servers are limited to 15 products. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited products.

Users can’t pick multiple products on one vouch

Multiple products per vouch are Premium only. Free tier allows one product per vouch.

A user says /vouch is blocked for them

Check the dashboard Blacklist for their Discord user ID. Remove the entry if it was a mistake.

Staff confirmation: vouch never appears in the vouch channel

With confirmation enabled (Premium), staff with Manage Messages must approve the pending flow in the channel where the bot posted the prompt. Check logging channel for errors and bot permissions.

/lookup or /delvouch says no permission

/lookup requires Manage Messages (or higher). Admin-style commands require Administrator or your configured admin role.

Embed settings & layout

Layout builder is grayed out / I can’t drag fields

Custom vouch layout is Premium. Free servers use the default layout. Redeem Premium on the Subscription tab first.

Saving embed color fails or says invalid color

Use a valid hex such as #7c3aed or the preset names supported by the dashboard hint text. Fix typos and remove spaces.

Thumbnail URL rejected

Use a direct https:// image URL. Some hosts block hotlinking — try another image host.

Server settings (Premium toggles)

Premium automation checkboxes are disabled

On Free tier those controls are read-only so you can see what unlocks with Premium. Purchase or redeem Premium for this server, then refresh — the same toggles become editable.

Saving settings returns “This setting requires premium”

Those options need Premium for your server (vouch counter, auto emoji, staff confirmation, auto backup, sticky message, custom layout, and similar). Redeem Premium on the Subscription tab first, then turn the options on and save again.

“Post-vouch role requires premium”

Assigning a role after vouch is Premium-only. Clear the post-vouch role on Free or upgrade.

“Free tier allows at most 15 products”

Trim products to 15 or fewer, or upgrade to Premium.

Billing, Stripe & Premium keys

“Stripe not configured” or checkout button does nothing

Checkout is not available on this site right now. Try again later or open a ticket in Discord support so the team can check it.

Checkout canceled — was I charged?

If you closed Stripe before paying, you were not charged. If a charge appears on your card but Premium did not unlock, open a ticket in Discord support with the Stripe receipt and your Discord ID.

“This payment does not belong to your logged-in account”

You must be logged into the dashboard with the same Discord user that was recorded on the Stripe session. Log out and log in with the purchaser account.

“Log in with Discord to view your license key”

You are not authenticated. Sign in and return to the Subscription tab; the app polls checkout status only for logged-in users.

/redeem says invalid or key already used

Keys are single-use and format-sensitive — paste the whole key exactly. If it was already used on another server, you need a new key for this server.

I bought Premium for the wrong Discord server

Keys bind at redeem time to whichever server you had selected in the dashboard (or where you ran /redeem). Purchase another key while managing the correct server, or contact support if you truly redeemed by mistake immediately after purchase.

Backups, keys & restore

“Latest backup” shows no file on Free

Create a backup once using Run Backup on the dashboard or /backup in Discord, then open the Backup tab again so it can show the latest file.

Free backup only has 100 vouches but my server has more

Free tier backups include up to 100 vouches per snapshot. Premium removes that cap and adds rolling history.

/restore says invalid backup key

The key must match the current main backup file on the server (case-insensitive match). Run a fresh backup and use the new key, or use the key shown under Latest backup. For an older Premium history file use /backuphistory restore with that snapshot’s key.

Restore reposted duplicates or spammed the channel

Restore intentionally re-posts vouches from the snapshot. Coordinate with staff before running it on a live server; delete extras with /delvouch or the dashboard if needed.

Auto backup / /autobackup won’t run on Free

Scheduled auto backup is Premium. Enable it in dashboard Server settings, then run /autobackup enable in Discord so the bot stores the repeating key.

Backup history says it needs Premium

The list of older dated backups is a Premium feature. On Free you can still use the latest backup from the dashboard when you have run a backup at least once.

Dashboard UI & saves

Saving settings shows an error message

Read the on-screen message — it usually says what to fix (for example a missing channel, a Premium-only option on a Free server, or an invalid color). Correct that and click save again.

The dashboard says “Forbidden” or won’t save

You may not have permission for that server anymore, the wrong server is selected, or your login expired. Pick the correct server in Change Server, or log out and sign in with the account that owns the server or has Administrator.

Vouches tab delete fails

You need permission to manage that server’s data in the dashboard. If the vouch message was already removed in Discord, deletion may still work or show a short message — read what the dashboard says and try again if needed.

Download backup shows an error or “not found”

Stay logged into the dashboard in the same browser and try again. If you have never created a backup for this server, run Run Backup or /backup first, then download.

Overview KPIs show “—” or zeros after import

Refresh the page or switch to another tab and back. If numbers stay blank after a few minutes, open a ticket in Discord support with your server name.

Other glitches

Discord says “Something went wrong” or “Unknown interaction”

Often a short Discord hiccup or the bot was slow to respond the first time. Try the command again in a few seconds. If it keeps failing, check that the bot is online and open a ticket in Discord support.

“Database is locked” or a backup fails once

The server may be busy for a moment (many vouches or a backup at the same time). Wait a few seconds and try again.

The dashboard loads but nothing saves or loads (blank data)

Use the normal site link you were given (prefer the https:// address in the browser bar). Avoid “mixed” pages where the site is secure but something still points at an old insecure URL. If you are sure the URL is correct, try another browser or disable extensions that rewrite URLs.

Privacy / GDPR: export or delete my Discord account data

See Privacy Policy section on rights. Practical steps: remove the bot from your server, delete vouches you authored via dashboard or staff, and open a support ticket for account-level requests.

Do you offer email support?

No. Use the Discord support server and open a ticket (see the dashboard Support tab for steps).

Can you reset my server’s vouches or Premium from here?

Staff can only help through the ticket process. We cannot change your server data without verification procedures defined in support.
